Yolanda Lewis is a skilled strategist and executive with over 25 years of experience in public service. She brings a systems-thinking approach, informing the ability to build stakeholder consensus and design scalable initiatives across justice systems, government, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector.
As Executive Vice President at the Meadows Institute, Yolanda leads a center of excellence, driving local and national change to improve access to care across justice and health systems. Previously, she served as Senior Director for Safety and Justice at The Pew Charitable Trusts, overseeing research and policy reform to enhance justice system efficiency, including public safety, mental health, and civil legal system modernization. She also served as the Chief Administrative Officer for Fulton County Superior Court and District Court Administrator for the Atlanta Judicial Circuit, where she oversaw all court administrative functions, including budget management, human resources, technology, facilities, and court operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of justice services to over one million residents.
Yolanda's service affiliations include faculty for Michigan State University's Judicial Administration program, with previous leadership roles in the National Association for Court Management, Smart Justice Advisory Council, Georgia Council of Court Administrators, and the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System. She serves on the National Center for State Courts board and is a mayoral appointee supporting health equity across communities to include the District of Columbia.
Yolanda holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of South Alabama and completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Yale School of Management.
